DoD officials observe logistical innovation throughout II MEF
Distinguished visitors from the Department of Defense receive a brief on the Joint Tactical Aerial Resupply Vehicle at Camp Lejeune, N.C., Aug. 17. This version of the JTARV can carry up to 200 pounds, which can potentially allow for faster resupply missions on the battlefield. Alan Estevez, Principal Deputy under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition, Technology and Logistics, Kristin French, Principal Deputy under Secretary of Defense for Logistics and Material readiness, and Lt. Gen. Michael Dana, Deputy Commandant of Installations and Logistics, visited the base to get a first-hand look at logistical innovation throughout II Marine Expeditionary Force.
