Children make valentines for veterans
Tiawarn Williams, a teacher at the Bettye Ackerman-Cobb Child Development Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, helps students make Valentine’s Day cards for the veterans and staff at Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Richmond, Virginia, Feb. 12, 2018. Defense Logistics Agency Aviation military members from DSCR took the cards to McGuire and passed them out to veterans and also hung them along the walls of the medical center’s atrium. The cards will remain on display throughout the month of February as part of National Salute to Veteran Patients Week, which runs Feb. 11-17.
