William K. Holz, Defense Logistics Agency’s director of installation management for Distribution, sits for his last official portrait as a federal employee adorned with a lapel pin that pays homage to his German American heritage. Holz says that, in his 35 years of federal service, the biggest change he’s seen have been improvements in technology and level of education and training expected of U.S. warfighters.
