Mayport NS ribbon cutting celebrates cost saving utilities contract
Navy Capt. Brian Binder, commanding officer of Naval Station Mayport, shares the utilities privatization ribbon cutting with Steve Curtis, American Water Military Services Group President. The UP contract is the first of its kind between the Navy and DLA Energy and is expected to provide a cost avoidance of approximately $65 million over the life of the contract.
