DLA Land and Maritime associates race across Ohio

COLUMBUS, Ohio — Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime associates spent their weekend running 131 miles for cancer awareness Aug 24-25, as part of the fourth annual Columbus to Cincinnati Relay Run. Team "Are We There Yet?" completed the two-day running adventure across Ohio and raised more than $2,800 to help in the fight against cancer.

DSCC celebrates Women’s Equality Day

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Defense Federal Community celebrated Women’s Equality Day Aug. 22 with an outdoor observance at the Defense Supply Center Columbus’ Mission Park marked by music, food and fellowship. “Today we celebrate the progress we’ve made to advance the full participation of women in the federal workplace,” said DSCC and Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Commander Navy Rear Adm. John Palmer.

DSCC’s fight against hunger continues in 2018

COLUMBUS, Ohio — DLA Land and Maritime and DSCC are partnering with the Mid-Ohio Food Bank to help fight hunger in the greater Columbus area. For the past nine years, the installation has provided continuous support to the local food bank aiding half a million people experiencing food insecurity annually in Ohio.
