DLA Troop Support supplies pre-made meals for sailors in quarantine

The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Subsistence supply chain received a request from the U.S. Navy for individually wrapped, pre-made sandwiches, salads and breakfast sandwiches in March, said Patricia Scott, chief of DLA Troop Support’s Customer Operations Garrison Feeding Division. These items will go to ships, mostly aircraft carriers, docking in Seattle, Washington; San Diego, California; Norfolk, Virginia; and Mayport, Florida, she said, to feed soldiers in quarantine and limit exposure.
