DLA Energy Task Force Americas closes out Hurricane Ian support

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — After nearly a month of emergency fuel support, DLA Energy Task Force Americas closed out Hurricane Ian assistance to FEMA Oct. 19. TFA personnel Chris Rogers, Air Force Maj. Timothy Truong, and Ray Juré helped coordinate fuel shipments from supply points in Virginia and Alabama to affected areas in central Florida.

DLA Energy Task Force Americas supports Hurricane Ian relief efforts

FORT BELVOIR, Va. — In preparation for Hurricane Ian, DLA Task Force Americas advance team arrived in Warner Robbins Air Force Base, Georgia, to execute its Defense Support to Civil Authorities operations and assist Federal Emergency Management Agency fuel requirements on Sept. 26.
