Red River hosts annual Employee Appreciation Day

Each year, Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Red River, Texas, hosts its annual Employee Appreciation Day at Elliott Lake, a recreational area located at Red River Army Depot to show appreciation to all employees for their hard work. This year’s event was held on Oct. 16.

Corpus Christi workforce practices fire safety with extinguisher training

According to the Bureau of Labor Statistics, 53 employees were killed by workplace fires in 2014. Although the number of fire-related fatalities has dropped 35 percent from 2013 to 2014, one fatality is too many.
