Defense Logistics Agency, Distribution employees and leadership gathered to wish a collective “Happy Birthday” to the U.S. Marines Corps Nov. 10, in honor of the service’s 241st birthday. November 10, 1775 was the day that the Continental Marines, later renamed the United States Marine Corps, was established and each year on November 10, the United States celebrates United States Marine Corp Day.

Mason Chronister, a management assistant in DLA Distribution’s department of Organizational Management and J9 was born deaf and at the age of 14 developed Usher Syndrome. Usher Syndrome results in a combination of hearing loss and visual impairment.

Chilean Navy visits DLA Distribution

Members of the Chilean Navy visited the largest distribution center in the Defense Logistics Agency Distribution network, DLA Distribution Susquehanna, Pa., on Oct. 28 to discuss DLA’s global logistics processes and how DLA Distribution supports foreign military sales customers. The visit included Rear Adm. Guido Cabrera, supply director of the Chilean Navy.

Princesses, Pirates and Porcupines unite in the quest for candy at the annual CDC Halloween Parade

Tenants of Defense Distribution Center, Susquehanna lined the streets surrounding the Child Development Center and the installation fire station to hand out candy to approximately 120 ghouls, goblins, superheroes and princesses during the Halloween parade on Oct. 31.
