The Defense Logistics Agency won the Summit Award for raising its 2018 Combined Federal Campaign donations in the National Capital Area by 3 percent and the Participation Achievement Award for increasing the number of participants by 2 percent.

Changes, opportunities touted during charitable campaign kickoff

The 2017 Combined Federal Campaign kicked off Oct. 19 at the McNamara Headquarters Complex, with remarks by DLA's director of Logistics Operations and a guest speaker, as well as an information fair where charities spoke with attendees about their work.

Agency honored for charitable campaign promotion

For the first time ever, the Defense Logistics Agency won the the top award for federal agencies its size, for its support of the 2016 Combined Federal Campaign.

DLA Police officer rides for charity

Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Riding 250 miles on a bicycle in three days seems like a monumental task to many people, but to Defense Logistics Agency Police Sgt. James Sprecher, it was a labor of love and only one in a long list of charity bike rides that he participates in each year.
