PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical and Industrial Hardware supply chain Culture Improvement Teams sponsored a trivia-based event promoting cross-functional integration between employees.

Hardware employees share knowledge to improve communication, processes

PHILADELPHIA — Employees at the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s Industrial Hardware supply chain established a “best practice team” consisting of handpicked members who are standardizing cross-functional communication and better streamlining operations across IH workflows.

‘Ugly’ festivities get Medical ready for the holidays

PHILADELPHIA — The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Medical supply chain celebrated the holiday season with an Ugly Sweater Contest, hosted by the Medical Culture Improvement Team Dec. 17.

DLA Troop Support — The holiday season is here, and with that goes the many ways that the workforce comes together to show appreciation for each other and what we do all year. The Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support Construction and Equipment supply chain’s Culture Improvement Team held its annual holiday luncheon on Dec. 5, where team members celebrated the end of the year with a festive lunch.

Mentor program continues philanthropy, expands workforce impact

PHILADELPHIA — Employees from a Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support mentoring program assembled care packages and wrote cards for deployed warfighters to support morale and resiliency at an event Dec. 3 in Philadelphia. The program began in the Industrial Hardware supply chain, but has become a cross-organizational collaborative program with mentors and mentees from all of Troop support’s supply chains.

PHILADELPHIA — A VA benefits team was invited by the Medical culture improvement team to talk with the supply chain’s veterans.

Troop Support senior enlisted leader retires with nearly 26 years of service

PHILADELPHIA — On the cusp of Memorial Day, the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support’s senior enlisted service member thanked fallen military members for their service during his retirement ceremony May 23. Army Master Sgt. Jose Moraga retired from the military with nearly 26 years of service.

Troop Support Spotlight: Victoria Czaia

PHILADELPHIA — Victoria Czaia, DLA Troop Support Clothing and Textiles customer account specialist and culture improvement team member, was teaching English in China during the Sichuan earthquake of 2008, 10 years ago today. Czaia joined the Red Cross there to help those affected.
