Marines herald 243 years of service, sacrifice, fidelity

The U.S. Marine Corps' 243rd birthday is Nov. 10; Marines and guests in the McNamara Headquarters Complex marked the occasion in a recent event honoring the service of Marines past and present.

DLA Pacific welcomes new commander as Daniels receives accolades for job well done

Navy Capt. Tim Daniels relinquished his command of DLA Pacific in a July 10 ceremony at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, as Air Force Maj. Gen. Mark Johnson welcomed the incoming commander, Navy Capt. Kristin Acquavella.

McNamara Headquarters Complex employees celebrate Navy’s 242nd birthday

Sailors joining the Navy today have initiative and commitment that will make the service’s future as successful as its past, the Defense Logistics Agency’s senior enlisted leader said during a celebration of the Navy’s 242nd birthday at the McNamara Headquarters Complex Oct. 17.

Navy birthday celebrates ‘America’s Sailor’

Members of the Navy from organizations across the McNamara Headquarters Complex came together to celebrate 241 years of history during the Navy’s birthday ceremony at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Oct. 12.

Employees from across the McNamara Headquarters Complex celebrated the Air Force’s 69th birthday with stories and performances at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, Sept. 22.
