DLA, services, clothing and textiles vendors ‘synchronize’ warfighter support

CHERRY HILL, New Jersey — Synchronizing the Defense Logistics Agency’s warfighter support with industry and military service partners ensures readiness and lethality for future operations, DLA Troop Support’s commander said during a planning brief Nov. 28 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey.

Defense Logistics Agency Aviation and Defense Supply Center Richmond Commander, Air Force Brig. Gen. Allan Day greets Virginia Governor Terry McAuliffe and the Adjutant General of Virginia, Maj. Gen. Timothy Williams to the installation for a ground-breaking ceremony August 17. The Virginia National Guard is set to build a 102,000 square-foot facility on the north side of DSCR. The $30 million project will serve as the National Guard state headquarters.
