Federal Center employees deliver Christmas at Salvation Army

At the end of each year Defense Logistics Agency employees at the Hart Dole Inouye Federal Center in Battle Creek, Michigan, work together to make the holidays a little brighter for families in need. Working with the local Salvation Army, DLA Installation Support’s Battle Creek Morale, Welfare and Recreation staff coordinate the Federal Center’s Adopt-A-Family Program. The program includes veterans that are patents at the local Veteran Affairs hospital and other families in the community.

Federal Center adopts 72 families of Veterans for Christmas

DLA associates at the Hart-Dole-Inouye Federal Center in Battle Creek, Michigan, support the US military all year, but as Christmas time draws near, they extend that support to their neighbors. Working with the Salvation Army, groups of HDIFC employees adopted 135 local individuals, providing food and gifts for the holidays.
