Lifecycle maintenance program breathes new life into Corps safety boats

MARINE CORPS BASE QUANTICO, Va. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Marine Corps Systems Command website — The Marine Corps Open Water Safety Craft is getting an overhaul this year, thanks to the Enterprise Life Cycle Maintenance Program.

The DLA Land and Maritime video archieve library contains streaming videos of Building 20 Auditorium events for associates based upon the event month. The GCDS playback links DLA CAC enabled.

Defense Logistics Agency's Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity Office sponsored a quarterly diversity and inclusion training event titled “The 10 Lenses,” May 25, 2017 in the Lotts Conference Center, on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. Mark Williams, a Monster Government Solutions employee facilitated the training event demonstrating various ways to connect with others and internal and external customers, while leveraging diversity to increase productivity, innovation, and carry out the mission.

Richmond, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Aviation employees at Richmond, Virginia, attended a workshop for the quarterly diversity and inclusion training titled “The 10 Lenses,” May 25, in the Lotts Conference Center. The mandated training offered various ways for employees to connect with each other and their internal and external customers, while leveraging diversity to increase productivity, innovation, and carry out the mission.

Factory tour shows how an Abrams comes to life

COLUMBUS, Ohio — A lot has changed at the Lima Army Tank Plant since the first combat vehicles rolled off its assembly line nearly 75 years ago. During World War II, the Ohio installation had more than 5,000 employees and processed tens of thousands of vehicles for overseas shipment.

Subsistence PaCER helps provide new performance bar to Army recruits

PHILADELPHIA — Army recruits in basic combat training will start eating nutritional snack bars this summer to help prevent injuries. And an employee in training at the DLA Troop Support is largely responsible for procuring the vitamin-packed treats for recruits.

Twelve high-mobility, wheeled vehicles arrive among the many Class II and VII items rolling into DLA Disposition Services at Gimcheon, Korea, for the Operation Clean Sweep.
