Richmond, Va. — After a storied career spanning more than 35 years in civil service, Harold McManus retires at the end of March from his post as director of Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Office of Equal Employment Opportunity and Diversity. The times, they are always changing, and McManus has ridden on the crest of the wave that swept in changes to the way women, minorities and individuals with disabilities are treated in the workplace.

MANAMA, Bahrain — Army Maj. Gen. Flem B. "Donnie" Walker Jr., commanding general, 1st Sustainment Command (Theater) and deputy commanding general‐ Sustainment for United States Army Central, visited Defense Logistics Agency Distribution Bahrain, Southwest Asia on Feb. 27. DLA Distribution Bahrain Commander, Navy Cmdr. Charles Tellis and his leadership team provided a command brief and a tour of the facilities.

Shamrock 5k draws 130+ participants at DSCC

Despite temperatures hovering just above freezing – runners, walkers and observers gathered March 15 for the Morale, Welfare and Recreation office's first themed 5k of the year at the Defense Supply Center Columbus. More than 130 participants donned their best leprechaun-inspired outfits to celebrate the St. Patrick's Day holiday.
