DLA Troop Support recognizes civilian retirees

Susan Baker, Jeffrey Kochanowicz and Garth McBride marked their retirement from the Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support during a ceremony July 29. DLA Troop Support Commander Army Brig. Gen. Gavin Lawrence presided over the ceremony and thanked the retirees for their 104 combined years of service to the federal government and warfighters.

621st CRW teams up with joint partners in 'Southeast Asia' for exercise

Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the U.S. Air Force Expeditionary Center website — Nearly 1.6 million people are still trying to get their bearing after a 7.2-magnitude earthquake ravaged Southeast Asia. After a request for assistance from South Torbia, U.S. Transportation Command calls upon its premier response forces: 621st Contingency Response Wing, 689th Rapid Port Opening Element and the Defense Logistics Agency’s Rapid Deployment Team-Blue. This was the exercise scenario for Turbo Distribution 19-03, held July 18-24, 2019, at Contingency Operating Base Panther in North Vernon, Indiana.

2020 Solicitation for FY20 DLA Enterprise Rotation Program

The developmental assignments have been posted for the FY20 DLA Enterprise Rotation Program. Nominations are now being accepted. Enterprise assignments are cross-organizational, at the GS-11 through GS-15 level, and range in length from 3 to 12 months. Assignments are available at several locations throughout the Agency and begin in January 2020 or shortly thereafter.

Thule receives critical resupply shipment only once a year

Two DLA Energy employees attended the League of United Latin American Citizens 90th annual national convention and exposition in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, July 10 -13. Resolution Specialist Christian Sivelle and Supply Systems Analyst Carmen Tallada attended the four-day convention that brought together more than 20,000 Latino leaders from across the country for seminars and events.
