Fort Belvoir, Virginia — Defense Logistics Agency Energy Aerospace Energy recently supported NASA’s first U.S. mission to sample an asteroid with a launch from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station, Florida. The activity provided fuel and hydrazine required to launch the Atlas 5 rocket’s orbit of asteroid Bennu, where it retrieved 2 ounces of surface material before returning to Earth.

Any CAC or DoD ID is good to go, but a state driver’s license or state ID card might not be accepted for access to DoD or other federal facilities, depending on the state of issue.

Will your family’s ID cards still be G2G Jan. 30? Not if issued by certain states

On Jan. 30, 2017, any license or ID card from a state or territory that doesn’t comply with the Real ID Act (and hasn’t been given an extension) won’t be accepted for access to any federal facility. And on Jan. 22, 2018, any license used to board a U.S. flight must be from a jurisdiction that complies with the Act or has an extension from DHS.
