The Defense Logistics Agency’s first civilian woman vice director speaks about her career in this video made in honor of Women's History Month.
Mae DeVincentis retired in 2012 but started her career in 1975 as a clerk/typist at the Defense Supply Center Philadelphia. She held a variety of leadership positions in contracting, logistics and information technology.
She eventually directed DLA’s Information Operations (J6) and Logistics Operations (J3). DeVincentis was inducted into Troop Support’s Hall of Fame in 2003.
Troop Support will celebrate Women’s History Month with an awards program March 21 at 10 a.m. in the Bldg. 6 auditorium to recognize individuals who have contributed to the advancement of women. The program will feature keynote speaker Reverend Dr. Elizabeth Conde-Frazier, Academic Dean and Vice President of Education at Esperanza College of Eastern University.
