PHILADELPHIA –
The commander of Defense Logistics Agency Troop Support recognized 137 employees during a quarterly awards ceremony Dec. 19.
Army Brig. Gen. Mark Simerly presided over the ceremony recognizing outstanding employees’ accomplishments for the third and fourth quarters of 2017.
“One thing that I’ve found in my time here at Troop Support,” Simerly said, “there is excellence all around us.”
Pamela Smith, a lead internal review evaluator for Troop Support, earned accolades for achieving more than 35 years of service as a federal employee.
Smith was glad to see her leadership recognize the contributions of hard working employees who all work toward a shared goal.
“It’s all about the bottom line: supporting the warfighter,” Smith said.
