COLUMBUS, Ohio –
April showers bring May flowers, but in this case it brought nine new employees who attended the New Employee Orientation May 30 and 31 in the Building 20 Buckeye Room on the Defense Supply Center Columbus.
The class included administrative support staff, electricians and students in the Pathways to Career Excellence Program. They were welcomed by DLA Land and Maritime Chief of Staff Griff Warren who gave an overview of the Installation and DLA. Some of the other presentations included the Fire and Police Department, AFGE Union, Equal Employment Office and DLA Human Resources Service. The orientation was capped off with a windshield tour of the base by Installation Support.
