COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime People and Culture Directorate representatives attended the DLA Acquisition Career Office (DACO) Summit in Alexandria, Virginia June 5 and 6.
During the summit, Dr. Robert Boggs, Dr. Alessia Payne and Ms. Jamila Bayard shared information and provided presentations to representatives from across the Enterprise. Topics included Metrics and Measurements of Culture and People Support programs and projects, best practices, as well as, Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act and Continuous Learning Points tracking and reporting.
Thanks to the dedication and commitment from Jamila Bayard, as our DAWIA and CLP program manager, DLA Land and Maritime was recognized for the second time with the Team Performance Award - DACO annual award for maintaining the highest certification rate across the DLA Enterprise for a large Major Subordinate Command.
