One Easy Step to better Prepare Yourself - Download the AtHoc Mobile App

By Jayce Ashwill DSCC Installation Emergency Manager

September is National Preparedness Month, and it is a good time to sign-up to receive alerts via the AtHoc Mobile App (free)!

Please consider downloading the AtHoc Mobile App on your personal or government phone (Google Play or Apple App Store).

It is an excellent way to receive alerts, as the entire alert can be viewed on your screen (verses text alerts which are often separated into 3 or more texts).

These alerts are usually received quicker than other devices, and it does not require you to provide any personal information.

Instructions on downloading the mobile app are attached.

I highly encourage you to take advantage of this excellent tool.

Consider an Active Shooter Incident.  You are on your way to work, or just entered the gate.  You are in a restroom or some other area without voice notification capability.  Or the voice notification system is down.  Signing up for this app will help ensure you receive important notifications in a timely manner.
