My name is:

Joshua Anderson

I am:
A small-business specialist and AbilityOne program manager for the DLA Land and Maritime Office of Small Business Programs.

Describe your job in a sentence:
My job is to maximize small business and AbilityOne acquisition participation by providing compliance reviews of subcontracting plans and contractor-performance assessments, as well as recommending small-business strategies for high-dollar, complex acquisitions such as source-selection procurements and long-term contracts.

How long have you worked at DLA?
I started working at DLA Land and Maritime as an intern in 2007.

What is your favorite thing about working for DLA?
The DLA professionals’ unity of purpose in our mission to support the warfighter.

What are your best memories of working here?
Seeing the successful completion of team initiatives like source-selection procurements, AbilityOne Day and webinars. There is a lot at stake in each of these initiatives, and we are only successful by working together.

How do you make a difference?
I am blessed to have an opportunity to make a difference for our warfighters every day.
