Information fair kicked off April’s Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month at DSCC

Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime’s Sexual Assault Prevention and Response office hosted an information fair during lunch in the Operation Center Café April 3. The fair provided information and resources available at the Defense Supply Center Columbus and in the surrounding community for survivors of sexual assault and their advocates. Throughout the month, associates are invited to wear teal on Tuesdays in April to help raise awareness for sexual assault and prevention. Additional awareness activities include a month long, virtual DLA-wide “Going the Distance to Support SAPR” challenge, as well as local events: Teal Tea Awareness April 9, Walk a Lap for a Survivor April 17 and SAAPM 5K April 18. ------- DLA does not tolerate Sexual Harassment or Sexual Assault.
