Fort Belvoir, Virginia –
Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial three-day weekend that kicks off the summer season. It’s also the weekend when Americans honor the men and women who died while serving in the armed services.
Across the nation, people will visit cemeteries, attend memorial tributes and participate in parades as a way of honoring and remembering those service members’ sacrifices. Read Defense Logistics Agency Director Army Lt. Gen. Darrell K. Williams’ blog, which shares his thoughts on the remembrance of the 75th anniversary of D-Day.
Employees can read more in the Director's CAC-enabled blog.
