Defense Logistics Agency Police Officer Watkins assisted with an accident on his way to work June 15.

Defense Logistics Agency Police Officer Watkins assisted with an accident on his way to work June 15. When Watkins arrived at the scene, he called 911 and applied basic care, taking note of the likely operator of the offending vehicle and stayed on the scene until the CPD and medics arrived. Once the CPD arrived, Watkins identified the likely driver of the vehicle and provided a situation brief of what he had observed. Afterwards, Watkins continued to work for his shift at the Defense Supply Center Columbus.

The incident occurred about 4:30 a.m. near Woodcrest Road and Parr Place and left two people injured, according to the Columbus Police Department.

When Watkins arrived at the scene, he called 911 and applied basic care, taking note of the likely operator of the offending vehicle and stayed on the scene until the CPD and medics arrived.

Once the CPD arrived, Watkins identified the likely driver of the vehicle and provided a situation brief of what he had observed.
