COLUMBUS, Ohio –
Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Commander, Navy Rear Adm. John Palmer conducted a Town Hall in the Defense Supply Center Columbus’ Operations Center Auditorium Nov. 13 where he discussed Land and Maritime operational updates.
Palmer shared that the Agency is continuing daily operations as it awaits official word on any changes and their potential mission impact. He did say that Land and Maritime was positioned to possibly gain additional workload and he would communicate any definitive information as he’s informed.
Palmer took the opportunity to officially introduce the new DLA Land and Maritime Deputy Commander Ken Watson to the workforce. Watson spoke briefly about his background and relayed his appreciation about joining the Land and Maritime team. He particularly noted the friendliness of the associates he’s met since he arrived.
