DLA produces social distancing signage

By Amber McSherry, J6 Communications

The Defense Logistics Agency is producing signage to help the Department of Defense remind employees and visitors about social distancing and other precautions taken to slow the spread of COVID-19.

Throughout the pandemic, DLA has continued to support customers with their printing needs. Some of those requirements came in the form of materials to help keep people alert and aware of the measures taken to promote a safe, healthy environment. DLA print facilities produced various signage reminding people to wear a mask, to keep a six-foot distance from others and to wash their hands frequently using the proper protocol. The print facilities also generated products noting sanitization requirements and cleaning schedules to keep visitors, customers and employees informed of onsite safety standards and practices.

DLA has printed COVID-19 related items for the White House, Pentagon, Naval Information Warfare Center and Army hospital customers, among others. As more employees and visitors prepare to return to DOD facilities and offices, these items can be ordered to help keep the work environment COVID-19 free.

DLA print facilities produce:

  • Floor decals
  • Carpet stickers
  • Parking lot/sidewalk decals
  • Window clings
  • Signs/posters/banners

DLA staff are available to help with ordering and to answer any questions. Customers can choose from premade designs and messaging or create their own. Orders can be placed at Data Services Online.
