Army sergeant reenlists while assigned to DLA Aviation

Army Sgt. 1st Class Ambulai Jalieba reenlisted in the Army July 9 during a ceremony held by Defense Logistics Agency Aviation Customer Operations Directorate’s Army Customer Facing Division.

The ceremony, held in front of the DLA Aviation Operations Center on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia, was attended by Jalieba’s wife, Kubo; son, Xavier; and daughter, Eliana as well as division coworkers.

Jalieba, who was born in Liberia, entered the Army in 2007 shortly after graduating with his associate degree in electrical engineering from the Remington College, Tampa, Florida.  He also has a bachelor’s degree in criminal justice from Purdue University, West Lafayette, Indiana.

Jalieba is currently serving a year-long assignment as an Army logistics career broadener with the Customer Operations Directorate to gain exposure to supply chain management from requirements, through acquisition and industrial retail/production.

He has also served at Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Fort Stewart, Georgia; Fort Irwin, California; and deployed twice to Afghanistan.
