Describe your job.

In addition to relaying supervisor directions, I keep the team abreast of new processes, changes in standard operating procedures, as well as reminders of current practices. I compile the DMCH, DMCH Resolved, and do the relocations, as well as researching and resolving troubled property.

How long have you worked for the federal government including military service?

17 years.

How long have you worked for DLA Disposition Services?

15 years.

Any good work memories?

Traveling to Battle Creek for the mentoring program. I think the most enjoyable memories are when we used to have our yearly picnics, as well as Christmas get-togethers.

What aspect(s) of your current job gives you the most personal satisfaction and why?

Helping to find/figure out what happened to lost property. Love that research!

What is the best piece of advice someone has given you?

Do it right the first time!

Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Hopefully retired!

Read any good books lately?

Recently discovered author James Rollins. He has been described as a cross between Dan Brown (The DaVinci Code) and Clive Cussler, who wrote many books with a nautical basis. All three authors write from fact-based historical perspectives, with the good guy winning at the end.
