RICHMOND, Virginia –
Defense Logistics Agency Aviation’s Public Affairs Office hosted the Central Virginia Military Public Affairs luncheon and meeting Feb. 18, 2016 at the Bellwood Club on Defense Supply Center Richmond, Virginia. Guest speaker, DLA Social Media Manager Mason Lowery presented an overview on social media strategies.
This was the second meeting of the group which formed last fall. Central Virginia Military PAOs include Department of Defense public affairs professionals from DLA Aviation, U.S. Army Fort Lee Garrison, U.S. Army Combined Arms Support Command, Defense Commissary Agency, Kenner Army Health Clinic, Hunter Holmes McGuire Veterans Administration Medical Center, Defense Contract Management Agency, the Virginia National Guard, and the U.S. Army Richmond Recruiting Battalion. The group meets quarterly to discuss trends in DoD public affairs and to share ideas and lessons learned.
