What is your job title, and what do you do, specifically? Customer support specialist in the Priority Cell at Ogden
What do you like most about your job? The wonderful people I work with and are in contact with every day.
What aspect(s) of your current job gives you the most personal satisfaction? Why? Being able to get parts into the mechanic’s hands so they can get the weapon systems back to our warfighters as fast as possible. My son is in the military, stationed overseas, and my husband is retired military and I know how important it is for our warfighters to have reliable logistic support.
If you could speak directly to the warfighters you support, what would you tell them? We, at DLA, are dedicated in what we do to support them, and how much I truly appreciate their service!
What was your first job? I worked in Base Supply for the Ministry of Defense at Royal Air Force, Mildenhall, England.
Do you have an unfulfilled wish? To go to Hawaii
What are some of your passions outside of work? I love to golf with my husband and go on family vacations.
What is your favorite military aircraft? Why? The C-130 is my favorite military aircraft. My first job at Hill AFB was in support of the C-130 depot maintenance and, living near the base, I loved to see them fly overhead. They are so majestic and provide such wonderful service to our military.
What is/are your favorite book(s), television show(s) or movie(s)? Twilight, Stranger Things, This is Us, and Life in Pieces television series.
What type of music do you most enjoy? Newer country music.
