National Preparedness Month Weekly Tips

National Preparedness Month continues throughout the month of September. The theme for this year is "Disasters Happen. Prepare Now. Learn How."

Personnel are encouraged to visit the following websites to learn how to better prepare themselves for an emergency:

Federal Emergency Management Agency National Preparedness Month Website. This website includes information and pamphlets on topics including home preparedness and preparedness tips for a number of different disasters.

DLA Installation Support, Columbus Security and Emergency Services Center-wide website. This website includes information and plans from the Police, Fire, Emergency Management, Anti-terrorism, Pass & ID and other related programs.
