DLA Distribution Associate Counsel, Karen Saxton received a commander’s coin during DLA Distribution commanding officer Navy Rear Adm. Kevin M. Jones’ employee recognition event Feb. 1. Saxton effectively delivers timely, quality, professional legal advice and services to DLA Distribution senior leaders and clients and manages the most demanding litigation case load in the agency. Additionally, she volunteered to serve as legal advisor on the DLA team responsible for preparing to negotiate the new Master Labor Agreement. Furthermore, Saxton is currently preparing a briefing on the "Use of Force and Carrying Firearms" for DLA Police to ensure they satisfy the critical training requirement and are prepared to execute their installation security responsibilities.
