DLA Finance Business Analyst, Michelle Van Sickler received a commander’s coin during DLA Distribution commanding officer Navy Rear Adm. Kevin M. Jones’ employee recognition event Feb. 1.
Upon announcement of a DLA Office of Inspector General’s inspection of Distribution’s Small Arms Major End Item Rates, Van Sickler put forth great efforts to provide the Office of Inspector General with extensive information on Army small arms workload, budgeting and rate setting as far back as fiscal year 2015.
Van Sickler walked the OIG through the program budget review process, explaining the intricacies in developing a budget submission as diverse as DLA Distribution’s requirements. Her ongoing efforts have informed the OIG of every data point requested.
