Nominations for DLA Land and Maritime Internal Rotation Program

The Defense Logistics Agency Land and Maritime Internal Rotation Program is currently accepting nominations through March 5.

The purpose of the Internal Rotation Program is to provide employees with functional, cross-functional and leadership development through a wide range of practical experiences that provide participants with a broader view of DLA Land and Maritime.

DLA Land and Maritime employees in general schedule grades 7-13 are eligible for nomination to the 16 internal rotation opportunity positions. For more information, associates should view the internal Message of the Day.

These assignments have an allocation as follows:

  • One Shipyard to Columbus slot available (DLA Maritime Pearl Harbor, DLA Maritime Portsmouth, DLA Maritime Norfolk and DLA Maritime Puget Sound)
  • One Depot Level Repairable to Columbus slot available (Procurement Operations at Warren, Procurement Operations at Mechanicsburg and Procurement Operations at Aberdeen)
  • All others - Columbus

Note: DLA Columbus has funds set aside for both the Shipyard associate and the DLR associate for six months temporary duty participation.

Nomination packages must be submitted through the nominee’s chain of command to the DLA Land and Maritime Culture Division Internal Rotation Program Manager by March 5. Incomplete packages will be screened out.
