NEW CUMBERLAND, Pa. –
DLA Counsel-Distribution attorney Christina Hinkson received a commander’s coin during DLA Distribution Commanding Officer Navy Rear Adm. Kevin M. Jones’ employee recognition event March 27.
As a result of significant new missions and major initiatives such as the F-35 North American storage and distribution responsibility as well as the Eastern Distribution Center’s modernization that will result in more interaction between Distribution employees and contractors, Hinkson developed an ethics training module on "Interacting With Contractors." She presented this training to Distribution employees and the response from those who attended was very positive.
As a direct result of Hinkson's efforts, Distribution employees became more aware of, and were better prepared to comply with, applicable ethics laws, regulations and policies.
