The event was held at MWR’s Outdoor Rental Center May 11 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The service members receiving cookies were from the DSCC Installation, Columbus, Dayton, Chillicothe, Canton, Mansfield, Sharonville and Trenton, Ohio.

During Operation Cookie Drop, the units were provided with an overview of the services available through DSCC MWR to include Family Programs, ITR, Outdoor Recreation, Golf Course, Child Development Center, Fitness Center and Swimming Pool.

Units with morning appointments were introduced to members of Girl Scouts of Ohio’s Heartland.

Service members present at the event were afforded the opportunity to thank the Girl Scouts directly for the cookies.
