COLUMBUS, Ohio –
The purpose of the fair was to help employers connect with qualified and talented civilians as well as veterans with disabilities, and to provide the opportunity and strategy for employers to create a more diverse and inclusive workforce.
More than 150 jobseekers were in attendance and more than 70 federal and state government organizations, private-sector companies and local businesses attended the event.
Approximately 55 participants visited the DLA booth. Visitors learned about the Workforce Recruitment Program requirements, reasonable accommodations, accessibility, federal benefits, college internships, the Pathways to Career Excellence program, and entry-level positions to include part-time and full-time employment.
