Jonathan Tew graduated from the Defense Logistics Agency Pathways to Career Excellence Program Oct. 17 in Battle Creek, Michigan. Tew will remain in Battle Creek as a contract specialist working for DLA Disposition Services J7- Contracting.

Jonathan Tew graduated from the Defense Logistics Agency Pathways to Career Excellence Program Oct. 17 in Battle Creek, Michigan.

Tew will remain in Battle Creek as a contract specialist working for DLA Disposition Services J7- Contracting.

Tew has a Bachelor of Business Administration in Supply Chain Management from Western Michigan University (2000) and a Master’s of Public Administration from Grand Valley State University (2012). 

Tew served eight years in the Army and retired from the Michigan National Guard in 2010 with 20 years of service as a Captain. 

Tew was employed at Smiths Aerospace as a production planner for five years and most recently he was employed at Hopkins Public Schools as the transportation and maintenance supervisor for 12 years. 

Tew has been married for 27 years to his high school sweetheart Debra, and has two sons Nathan (15) and Joshua (13).  Currently, his hobby is watching his sons play sports.
