BATTLE CREEK, Mich. –
Andrew Larkin is assigned to the DLA Pathways to Career Excellence Program as a Property Disposal Specialist with Environmental duties.
Larkin graduated from Western Michigan University in 2018 with a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Spanish and also studied abroad in Spain during his senior year.
During college and upon graduation, he served as a full-time volunteer through AmeriCorps (a national service program) at two housing nonprofits: Milwaukee Habitat for Humanity and Rebuilding Together Southeast Michigan. In Milwaukee, he helped build affordable housing for families in Habitat’s first time homebuyer program. Later in Metro-Detroit, Andrew helped low-income homeowners apply for home rehabilitation projects. He also played a role in coordinating volunteer events with Rebuilding Together.
Currently, he looks forward to his new career with DLA Disposition Services and the opportunity to learn the business
