Shontavia Ortega is assigned to the DLA Pathway to Career Excellence (PaCE) Program as a Property Disposal Specialist with Environmental duties and will be assigned to Fort Riley, Kansas after Phase One of the program.

Shontavia Ortega is assigned to the DLA Pathway to Career Excellence Program as a Property Disposal Specialist with Environmental duties and will be assigned to Fort Riley, Kansas after Phase One of the program.

Shontavia comes to us from the Disposition Services, Colorado Springs Field Site, where she was a Material Examiner for the past 18 months. Shontavia served in the U.S. Army as a 92A Logistics Supply Specialist for over six years and was  stationed at Fort Campbell, Kentucky; Joint Base Lewis McChord, Washington, and was deployed to Afghanistan.

Shontavia attended Hawaii Pacific University where she earned an Associate’s of Arts degree in General Studies and a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Business Administration with a major in Management.

In her spare time she enjoys exploring and learning new things, spending time with family, and accomplishing personal goals.
