1) What's your name and where do you work? Doris Cabbell from DLA Information Operations (J6) Philadelphia PEO Enterprise Applications, Enterprise Sourcing Medical Contingency Portfolio STORES (J62CGA).

2) How long have you been with DLA and in civil service? 57 years

3) What jobs have you had with DLA and at what locations?

1964 – US Army Signal Corps /Internal Revenue Service

1965 – C&T

1966 - Medical

1969 -Subsistence

2007 -Information Operations

All in Philadelphia, Pa.

4) What are some of the biggest changes you’ve seen in the workplace?

I moved from South Philadelphia to Northeast. I used to clock in and out of work each day. We used typewriters to type letters and IOM’s with four different color tissue paper (white, green, pink and yellow). When I started working, DLA was Defense Supply Agency.

5) What has made you stay with DLA? I’ve enjoyed my work. Some people do not stay in a job as long as I have. You have to enjoy your job to work for a long time.
