MECHANICSBURG, PA –
Three individual DLA offices recently combined their efforts for the recently concluded Feds Feed Families campaign. DLA Document Services, DLA Disposition, and DLA Maritime Mechanicsburg made a unified donation of 500 pounds of food and cash for the annual campaign.
The joint DLA donation accounted for one-sixth of Naval Support Activity Mechanicsburg’s stated goal for Feds Feed Families of 3,000 pounds of food to be collected and donated to the Central Pennsylvania Food Bank.
The collaboration was coordinated by Chris Shardt from DLA Document Services, Severino (Allan) Coronacion from DLA Disposition, Michele Hippensteel representing DLA Maritime Mechanicsburg. Their combined efforts were supported by DLA Document Services Director Steve Sherman, DLA Disposition Supervisory Disposal Specialist Robert Stolakis, and DLA Maritime Mechanicsburg Director Brian Watkins.
