About the Defense Enterprise Data Standards Office
MISSION:
DEDSO develops, publishes, and maintains interoperable data standards for logistics business systems to facilitate auditability and support the reform initiatives of the DoD and other Trading Partners.
Defense Enterprise Data Standards Office (DEDSO) is responsible for:
- Facilitating enterprise integration and continuous process improvement of DoD logistics operations
- Maintaining interoperability by developing business rules that implement DoD policy
- Managing DoD logistics information infrastructure as well as cataloging data standards
- Publishing detailed guidance for DoD supply chain operations
