June 26, 2018 - More than 60 Defense Logistics Agency Disposition Services military reservists and civilians from all over the world gathered June 8-23 to participate in the annual Overseas Contingency Operations Readiness Training (OCORT) at two locations in Michigan.

June 19, 2018 - The annual expeditionary training for disposition personnel known as OCORT has added a new location and new real-life customers in a bid to create greater levels of realism.

May 25, 2018 - DLA Disposition Services’ annual Overseas Contingency Operations Readiness Training will continue to heighten the bar of excellence for agency field exercises when it convenes in mid-June at sites across Michigan.

March 23, 2018 - While most Defense Logistics Agency employees were gearing up for a weekend respite, more than 75 members of DLA’s Joint Reserve Force gathered at the McNamara Headquarters Complex at Fort Belvoir, Virginia, for their Mid-Year Leadership Review, March 16-18.

The mission of the Joint Reserve Force is to provide DLA with a trained, ready and available joint force for contingency operations, operational support, surge support, and contingency planning. Our objective is to develop an organization of highly skilled, multi-functional, joint logistics professionals who understand all aspects of DLA operations and customer service.

 

   

We are the Joint Reserve Force of the Defense Logistics Agency. We are Army, Navy, Air Force, and Marine Corps reservists working together to support the DLA mission world-wide. We are a high-performing, customer-focused, globally responsive force. DLA prides itself in being the "source behind the force." The source includes more than 650 reservists - Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Marines - assigned to nearly every DLA organization across the United States, including Hawaii, and Europe.
