The Safety and Health office is hosting a center wide blood drive November 4 from 9:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m., in the Building 14 Community Center located on Pershing Ave. on the north side of Bldg. 20/21 parking lots between 15th and 16th Boulevards. Parking is available on both the north and south sides of the building. The Installation taxi/shuttle service is available for transportation.

The blood drive is open to all installation employees, military, retirees (military and civilian), installation tenants, and contractors. Blood drives are “closed” to the general public. Your donation is appreciated. Blood collection quotas are dependent on supply and demand requirements. At this time Blood Program Staff are actively recruiting volunteer donors with blood types O+, O-, and a limited number of A+, A-, B-, and AB+/-. ALL BLOOD TYPES WILL BE ACCEPTED, but O+ and O- are desperately needed. NO ONE WILL BE TURNED AWAY DUE TO BLOOD TYPE. Appointments are preferred and given priority. Walk-ins are accepted, but may have to wait.

To schedule an appointment for the Armed Services Blood Program go on-line through Wright-Patterson Air Force Base at https://www.militarydonor.com. Sponsor code is DSCC. The program will send an email immediately and a reminder the day before the appointment. If you have any questions for ASBP call (937) 257-0580.
