Ritchie Post new test drogue stand has proven invaluable to the unit. It reduced overall inspection time by two hours per drogue and interface unit and eliminated a hazard present in the old testing process.

Moody A-10 engine maintainers make history

MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. — Logistics In Action: Article originally appeared on the Moody Air Force Base website — For the first time, Moody’s 23d Maintenance Squadron’s (MXS) propulsion flight accomplished an unprecedented feat by ensuring every TF34 engine in their fleet is repaired to serviceable status.

The Air Force uses the T-38 for joint specialized undergraduate pilot training. DLA Aviation manages roughly 70 percent of the more than 18,000 parts for the plane’s jet engines.
