Subsistence grows produce support to Alabama schools with satsumas
PHILADELPHIA — Schoolchildren in Alabama are enjoying a citrus treat this winter thanks in part to DLA Troop Support. Satsumas are a seedless fruit with loose skin grown in Alabama. And the Subsistence supply chain provides them to schools through the DOD Fresh Program.
